Regenerative FuturistForesight Strategies for Regenerative Cities of the Future.
Did you know that the Great lakes represent 20% of the Earth's freshwater? The state of Michigan in the US is likely to be the major focus for climate action nationally moving forward. Global climate goals focus on the scale of National or State policies, which are challenging for local communities to translate. We urgently need local collective action and policy, but what does that look like? What can you do? What can your neighborhood do?
Regenerative Futurist aims to normalize global climate goals with local action at the neighborhood scale. We host in-person workshops and online guest conversations to inform, inspire, delight, and provide systems, strategies, and approaches to guide your residential or commercial regenerative transformation with climate-ready solutions. Regenerative Futurist provides 21st century tools and insights to engineer civic strategies for prosperity. Working at the intersection of Strategic Foresight and downscaling Doughnut Economics, developed at the Doughnut Economics Action Lab as a participant of the Renegade Economist International Cohort, we prototype innovative nature - based systems (NbS) to accelerate inclusive, equitable, and regenerative cities of the future. We guide community leaders, organizations, and changemakers through research, analysis, and multi-sector collaboration to accelerate the connections between personal agency and local activism with global climate goals. |
